NBC has bargained with Warner brothers on the cost, making them to resort to cost cutting measures. This done, there might be changes in the cast. Then you are not sure if your favorite characters will remain in the coming episodes.
The chuck lovers are not completely out of speculation. They are forced to wait and see.
